Terms of Use for GPS Time Stamp

 1. Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to GPS Time Stamp (the “App”), operated by us (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App, including free features and paid Pro subscriptions. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. About the App

GPS Time Stamp is an iOS application that helps you capture photos and videos with visible overlays such as date, time, GPS coordinates, address details, maps, and related stamp information. The App is intended for personal, professional, field, construction, inspection, attendance, and similar documentation uses.

You are responsible for how you use stamped media and for complying with all applicable laws.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of your country to use the App. If you are using the App on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). If you are under that age, you may not use the App.

4. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store rules.

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where allowed by law

Bypass security, access controls, or subscription restrictions

Use the App for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes

Interfere with the App’s normal operation

All rights not expressly granted remain with us and our licensors.

5. Account and Device Responsibility

The App does not require a separate GPS Time Stamp login account. Access may be tied to your device and, for purchases, your Apple ID.

You are responsible for:

Keeping your device secure

Controlling who can access your device and Photo Library

All activity that occurs through your use of the App

Managing App Store purchases and subscriptions under your Apple ID

6. Permissions and Device Features

The App may request access to:

Camera — to capture photos and videos

Location (When In Use) — to stamp GPS and address details

Microphone — to record audio with videos

Photo Library — to save or manage stamped media

You can grant or deny permissions in iOS Settings. Some features will not work without required permissions.

Location accuracy depends on device GPS, network conditions, and Apple location services. We do not guarantee perfect accuracy of coordinates, addresses, maps, weather, compass, or other overlay data.

7. User Content

“User Content” means photos, videos, text overlays, notes, logos, reports, PDFs, and any other materials you create, import, stamp, save, or share using the App.

7.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of your User Content.

7.2 Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for User Content and for ensuring that you have all rights needed to capture, stamp, store, and share it. You agree not to use the App to create or distribute content that:

Violates any law or regulation

Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights

Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or illegal

Captures people, private property, or restricted areas unlawfully

Misrepresents facts, timestamps, locations, or events

You are responsible for complying with local laws when photographing or recording people, workplaces, private property, or sensitive locations.

7.3 Local storage

User Content is generally stored on your device and, if you choose, in your Photo Library. We do not provide a GPS Time Stamp cloud backup service. If you uninstall the App or lose your device without your own backup, User Content may be lost.

8. Free Features and Pro Subscriptions

8.1 Free use

Some features are available without payment, which may include limited templates, watermarking, or other restrictions. Free features may change over time.

8.2 Pro features

Paid Pro features may include, for example:

Access to all timestamp templates

Background colour / premium stamp themes

Report PDF saving and related export features

Remove App Logo / watermark removal

Other premium options offered in the App

Exact Pro benefits are shown in the App at the time of purchase.

8.3 Purchases and billing

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Refunds, billing disputes, and payment issues are handled under Apple’s App Store terms and policies.

8.4 Restore purchases

If you previously purchased Pro, you may use Restore Purchases to recover access on eligible devices linked to the same Apple ID, subject to Apple and subscription-provider validation.

8.5 Pricing changes

Prices may vary by region and may change over time. The price shown in the App Store / App at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

Break any law or encourage illegal activity

Violate privacy or surveillance laws

Create false evidence, forged records, or misleading documentation

Harass, stalk, or harm others

Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access

Misuse subscription systems, refunds, or restore flows

Resell the App or provide it as an unauthorized service bureau without permission

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms.

10. No Professional or Legal Advice

GPS Time Stamp is a documentation and stamping tool. It does not provide legal, surveying, engineering, medical, insurance, or professional advice.

Stamped media does not by itself guarantee admissibility, authenticity, or acceptance by courts, insurers, employers, government agencies, or any third party. You are responsible for verifying whether stamped outputs meet your legal or business requirements.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

Location, address, time, map, compass, or other stamp data will always be accurate or complete

Captured media will meet every professional, legal, or evidentiary standard

The App will be compatible with every device or iOS version

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR MEDIA FILES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP SUBSCRIPTION IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use of the App

Your User Content

Your violation of these Terms

Your violation of any law or third-party rights

14. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, text, graphics, UI, templates (excluding your User Content), and software, is protected by intellectual property laws. “GPS Time Stamp” and related branding are used to identify the App.

You may not use our name, logo, or branding without prior written permission, except as needed for normal App use or as allowed by law.

15. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party platforms and services, including:

Apple App Store, StoreKit, and Apple system services

Apple Maps / MapKit and location services

RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management

Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

16. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you also acknowledge that Privacy Policy.

17. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active subscription through Apple.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App or Pro features if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App.

Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive.

18. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise them.

If changes are material, we may provide notice in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.

19. App Store / Apple Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App

In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) to the extent required by Apple’s policies; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation

Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you

You must also comply with Apple’s Media Services Terms and applicable App Store rules.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your primary place of residence or as otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where Apple’s App Store terms require otherwise.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of your country that cannot be waived by contract.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any in-App disclosures about subscriptions or features, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede prior agreements relating to the same subject matter.
