1. Introduction

Welcome to GPS Time Stamp (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the GPS Time Stamp mobile application (the “App”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

GPS Time Stamp is designed to help you capture photos and videos with visible timestamps, GPS location details, and related overlays for personal, professional, or documentation use.

2. Who We Are

GPS Time Stamp is an iOS application that stamps date, time, location, and other information onto photos and videos.

3. Information We Collect

We aim to keep data collection minimal. Most capture-related data stays on your device.

3.1 Information processed on your device

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the App may process:

Camera data - photos and videos you capture

Microphone audio - only when you record video with sound

Location data - GPS coordinates, altitude, and related location details used to stamp captures and reverse-geocode addresses (while the App is in use)

Photo Library content - media you choose to save, import, or include in reports

Device date and time - used for timestamp overlays

App preferences - settings such as stamp style, templates, date/time format, map style, opacity, and similar options stored locally on your device

This information is primarily used on your device to create stamped media. We do not operate a GPS Time Stamp account system that requires you to create a username/password login with us.

3.2 Purchase and subscription information

If you purchase a Pro subscription (for example weekly or yearly plans), payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements.

Apple and/or RevenueCat may process information related to your purchase, such as:

App Store account identifiers used for transactions

Subscription product identifiers

Purchase / restore / entitlement status

Transaction receipts and related billing metadata

We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple handles payment processing under Apple’s own policies.

3.3 Information we do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect:

Your name, postal address, or government ID for App use

Advertising profiles for third-party ad networks (this version does not include ads)

Contact lists, messages, or unrelated personal files

Precise location when the App is not in use (we request Location When In Use only)

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

Capture and stamp photos/videos with date, time, GPS, address, and related overlays

Save stamped media to the App’s local library and, if you allow it, to your Photo Library

Build and export reports (such as PDF reports) when you choose those features

Provide Pro subscription features and restore purchases

Remember your in-app preferences and settings

Improve App reliability and troubleshoot issues when you contact support

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Permissions Explained

The App may ask for the following iOS permissions:

You can change or revoke permissions anytime in iOS Settings. If you deny a permission, related features may not work fully.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Stamped photos, videos, and related metadata are generally stored on your device.

App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.

If you save media to your Photo Library, that content is managed by Apple’s Photos system under your Apple ID and device settings.

Subscription entitlement status may be synced through Apple and RevenueCat so Pro access can be restored on your devices.

We do not provide a cloud backup service operated by GPS Time Stamp for your stamped media. If you uninstall the App or clear App data, local App content may be permanently removed.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Your information may be processed by the following categories of service providers only as needed to run the App:

7.1 Apple

Apple may process device, payment, and App Store related information under Apple’s Privacy Policy when you download the App, grant system permissions, or purchase subscriptions.

7.2 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and entitlement status. RevenueCat may process purchase-related identifiers and subscription status according to its privacy practices.

7.3 Sharing you initiate

If you share photos, videos, PDFs, or reports using iOS share sheets or other apps, that content leaves the App according to the destination you choose (email, messaging apps, cloud drives, etc.). Those third parties have their own privacy policies.

7.4 Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

8. Children’s Privacy

GPS Time Stamp is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at dhara.divakar.apps@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your device secured (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, system updates) and for controlling who can access your device and Photo Library.

10. International Users

The App may be used in different countries. Purchase and entitlement services (Apple / RevenueCat) may process data in countries other than your own, subject to their respective privacy policies and applicable law.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing.

Because most App content is stored on your device, you can typically:

Delete stamped media from the App or Photos

Reset App preferences

Revoke camera, location, microphone, or photo permissions in iOS Settings

Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings

Uninstall the App

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may interact with Apple system services (Maps, Photos, StoreKit) and subscription infrastructure. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices outside our control.

13. Subscriptions and Purchases

Pro features may require a paid subscription. Purchases are billed by Apple. Subscription auto-renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment management are handled through your Apple ID account settings and Apple’s policies.

We use purchase/entitlement status only to unlock Pro features you paid for and to restore access when requested.

14. No Advertising in Current Version

The current version of GPS Time Stamp does not include third-party advertising networks or ad tracking for ads. If this changes in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, request additional consent.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy, unless applicable law requires additional consent.
